Continuing my comment from 2 - 12, this great photo continues the sense of isolation I mentioned... the off-center composition, the defiantly-posed yet seemingly small figure all lead to a sense that she is, for the moment at least, utterly cut off from the rest of her kin. I wish this one were also available as a print! (goes off to hit 'request' button...)
This looks like it would make a great wraparound cover, by the way, if it were flopped (reversed). Once I have some time, I might try to do something along those lines with it, being sure to post it. Mind you, I'm not promising anything SOON, but I'd like to try something in the not-too-distant future.
I've already been doing some doodling with this one, and realised that it might make a cool 'splash' page in a comic book. 2__12 would make a great front cover, and page one would comprise 3 or 4 panels (featuring more poses from your series), culminating in 2__13 being the two-page spread featuring the episode title and credits, plus the lone speech balloon "They're gone." When I get past the thumbnails and roughs (at least several days out), I'll upload something to my gallery so you can see. (I'll post a comment here on the relevant pages, with links.)
And no, I have no idea where I'd go from there, and really have no intention of writing/drawing out a whole comic book (not to mention the licensing issues I'd have to negotiate). It's just an idea I file under my 'scenes from a movie that doesn't exist' file, only in this case 'movie' becomes 'comic book.' If only I could get a job writing single scenes: "Hey, I've got this cool idea for a scene, but someone else will have to come up with the rest of the movie!"
